Mephisto Kennel History
Walter and Monika Pinsker started their kennel, breeding and showing Boxers under the "Mephisto" prefix in 1968. Since that time they have produced well over 100 champions in that breed, which in turn have been awarded "Best in Show" honors over 150 times. They produced the number one all breed dog in Canada in 1975, and number one all breed dog in Japan in 1997. They have produced Canada's number one boxer numerous times. In addition to the Boxers, Walter and Monika have owned / bred / exhibited Smooth Fox Terriers, Shiba Inus, Whippets, and Akitas.
It is the boxers that have remained their main focus and closest to their hearts. In recent years Walter and Monika have been assisting their daughter Michelle and Son in law Peter in taking over the reins of Mephisto Boxers and remain an integral part in furthering the successful breeding program of one Canada's most respected Boxer Kennels.
