I have often said that I was born and bred into the sport of pure bred dogs.  Strangly enough, my parents never forced me or even encouraged me into junior handling. However one day, when I was 11, I  decided to try it.  I showed a miniature schnauzer and placed fourth  I took my first best in show when I was 12 with our boxer bitch. Ch. Mephisto's Calypso of LeBlanc and I was bitten by the "bug" and the rest is history. I always knew that being a professional handler is what I wanted to do.  

 

I have been very blessed that with this sport I have had the opportunity to travel the world and have been to many amazing places:  Most of Canada, US, Mexico, Bermuda and Japan.  I have received over 100 Best in Shows, including winning Best in Shows from all 7 groups.  My most cherished accomplishment was placing in Canada's Top Ten All breed , with father and then son, AmCanCh. Mephisto's Rosenkavalier and AmCanJap. Ch. Mephisto's Guns and Roses, 4 consecutive years.  

 

After meeting Peter and being blessed with our daughters Vienna and Savannah, I have decided to slow down a bit from the dog shows.  I still do roughly 75 shows a year, showing half the time in the US.  We have also taken over the breeding of the Mephisto Kennel, yet on a very small scale.  

 

I relish spending time with my family, handling beautiful dogs, breeding beautiful boxers and look forward to starting my judging career in the near future.
