June 2008: Michelle has been very busy showing in the US and Canada. She travelled to Kentucky and attended the ABC National, where she competed in the Top 20, and made it to the last cut with Harley (Am.Cdn. Ch. CynTech’s Touch of Dash). She won the very competitive Open Brindle Bitch Class with Gracie (Ch. Adria’s Grace of Fire Mephisto) as well as winning two other highly competitive Bitch classes. Michelle has a full show schedule this summer. We are also celebrating our Poppy’s (AM.Cdn. Ch. Mi-T Impressive Mephisto, DOM) 9th birthday this month. Our other Old Girl Tootsie (Am.Cdn.Ch. Dorado’s Given to Fly Mephisto, DOM) won Best Veteran at the Canadian Boxer National under esteemed judge Mrs. Cheryl Robbins in April !! December 2007 : It has been a busy year for us, moving to a new home and refurbishing a new kennel building. Please accept our apologies for falling behind in our online updates. We will add pictures of our Fa-Fa babies in the new year!!
October 7, 2006 : Am.Can.Ch.Mephisto’s Arcturus (Bobby) went BISS at the Japan Kennel Club Main Branch’s Specialty Show in a field of over 60 Boxers. He now has two certificates and is half way to his Japanese Championship.
September 19, 2006 : Ch. Mephisto’s La Vie en Rose (24 hour holter, zero PVC’s, OFA hips good) whelped her first litter. The sire is Ch. Mephisto’s Lord of the Ring (24 hr holter, zero PVC’s, normal echocardiogram) and this is his first litter as well. We have two flashy brindle bitches, one flashy brindle boy, and two plain brindle boys. See the Puppies page for photos of this new litter.
September 8, 2006 : Mephisto’s French Kiss finished her Canadian championship today after only four days of showing. She finished with another best of breed and best puppy in group at Oceanside Kennel Club show under Mr. Merlin Vandekinder. This win makes Am. Can. Ch. Mi-T Impressive of Mephisto a Canadian Dam of Merit.
August 14 - 20, 2006 : Michelle attended the American Boxer Club Regional Specialty in Olympia, Washington. Am.Cdn.Ch. Dorado’s Given to Fly Mephisto was Best Veterans Bitch every Day! Am.Cdn.Ch. Dorado’s Roses and Chrome made her presence known and was awarded BOS at the ABC Regional. Michelle won Winners dog with three different dogs during the week, and placed or won with each of the 15 boxers she showed that week.
August 3-6, 2006 : Michelle attended the Alberta Kennel Club Show and Canadian Boxer National. A hugely successful weekend included a Best in Show with Am. Cdn. Ch. Cyntech’s Touch of Dash, who also added two Group 1’s and a Best in Specialty at the Alberta Boxer Club Specialty and went Best of Opposite Sex at the National. Ch. Donoway’s Wild Rose of Mephisto won Winners Bitch at the National to finish her championship in grand style. She also won 1st award of merit at the Alberta Boxer Specialty and BOS at the all breed show. Finally, Am.Cdn.Ch. Dorado’s Given to Fly Mephisto won Best Veteran and an award of merit. Michelle brought 5 class dogs with her and this weekend and brought home 4 as champions.
July 17, 2006 : Ch. Mephisto's Wild Orchid (Lilly) whelped her second litter. The sire is Ch. Mephisto's Caruso ( Ch. Turo's Futurian grandson ). We have three flashy brindle boys and one flashy brindle girl.
July 2006 : Mephisto's French Kiss "Kissy" made her Canadian debut at the Vernon and District Kennel Club show and won Best of Breed over 3 specials, Group 2nd and Best Puppy in Show under American Judge Mr. Ric Chausodian for 5 points. She won winners Bitch the next day for 3 more points under Mrs. Terri Carter. We were thrilled with such a strong beginning to her show career.
February 2006 : Am.Can.Phil.Ch. Mephisto's Pinball Wizard (Tommy) was #1 Boxer, #1 Working Dog and #3 All-Breed with Multiple Best in Shows in the Philipines for 2005.
March 23, 2006 : Mephisto's Davinci Code finishes Canadian title in only 7 shows.
April 3, 2006 : Am.Can.Ch. Mephisto's Arcturus (Bobby) took BOB at the 2006 FCI Asian International Dog Show in Tokyo under
Australian judge Wayne Burton. He is ¼ of his way to a FCI championship
title! He beat 40 Boxers! He also won the Asian Winners Award!
April 8, 2006 : Am. Can. Ch. Dorado's Given to Fly Mephisto (Tootsie) won Best Veteran at the Boxer Club of Canada Regional Specialty in Chilliwack BC. Mephisto's Lord of the Ring (Mikey) won Winner's Dog and Best of Winners at the Sagebrush Working and Herding Specialty.
May 14, 2006 : Ch. Mi-T's Leading Man of Mephisto
(Ch. Hi-Tech's Johnny J of Boxerton x Am/Can Ch. Mi-T's Impressive Mephisto) finished his Canadian Championship at the very young age of six months. He is owned and loved by Cheryl Appleyard of Manitoba.
May 20, 2006 : Ch. Mephisto's Lord of the Ring (Mikey), finished his Canadian title in Chilliwack, BC. He is the second champion out of our breeding with Ch. Mephisto's Wild Orchid and Am.Can.Ch. Berlanes's Causin an Uproar. Ch. Mephisto's Davinci Code was the first in March, 2006.
